Work field isolation
Achieving predictable and repeatable results from routine dental procedures is impossible without adequate isolation of the working field. Isolation is even more important in extreme situations when the prognosis of the tooth is compromised. The rubber dam is the gold standard in the field and provides absolute isolation of the working field from saliva, blood and crevicular fluid, which is crucial for successful treatment. The course is suitable for beginners who have never worked with a rubber dam, for those who have tried to introduce it into their daily practice but found its placement too time-consuming and gave up, as well as for experienced colleagues who want to improve their skills. Common challenges associated with rubber dam placement will be discussed and how to overcome them. Learn step by step how to place a rubber dam with precision and efficiency to improve both the quality of the treatment performed and patient satisfaction!
The theoretical part of the course includes:
- The need for isolation of the working field
