The following procedures may be included in the treatment protocol for calculus and plaque removal in the dental office: examination, cleaning and polishing of the teeth.\n\nAlthough the Bulgrian NHIF covers only one dental examination per year, an additional examination is recorded with each patient visit to the Bulgarian HIS (without filling in a dental status).

When entering the review in the Bulgarian HIS, you can use the following codes:

97011-01 - Oral examination.
97111-00 - Plaque cleaning.
97114-00 - Calculus removal.
97141-00 - Instructions to the patient for maintaining good oral hygiene.
